Dan Pink’s talk at RSA has been animated. It’s hard not to get mesmerized by the animation, and the combination of the smooth animation and Pink’s suave public speaking skills make it hard to detect a bait-and-switch that takes place midway through the piece: the first half is experimentally driven, but the second-half is anecdotally driven.
Of course, the claims made are certainly interesting and may well be valid, but it’s important not to mistake beauty for the truth, so this warrants some degree of skepticism.
